Dr. Anna Steffner
I am from Great Britain and was born and brought up in Scotland. Went to University early at the age of 16 and then completed a number of academic degrees up to my doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, namely fluid mechanics. I have many years working experience in research and industry, mainly in project management, business development management, quality management (company accreditation of IS0 9000) and research and development; my most senior position being production director of a multinational company. Since coming to Switzerland I have continued to work as a consultant in industry and at the same time retrained and became a language teacher working in a number of secondary schools in Graubünden. I have worked at University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons since 2009 as a lecturer for mainly English but also a number of other subjects including scientific research. My passions are my four children, books, learning and of course chocolate.
