The region offers 35 cable cars managed by autonomous players. However, due to a lack of brand awareness, a missing common marketing strategy and an absence of product innovation efforts the cable car companies are continuously at risk of losing their livelihood. The goal of this thesis is to develop memorable products for the Urner cable car to overcome this deficit. Therefore, the thesis examines the actual situation and resources of the Urner cable cars through the use of different analyses and expert interviews. Moreover, the needs and wants of existing and potential customers are investigated through the use of Service Design Methods. The entire Service Design Thinking Modell will be applied in order to develop innovative and customer-oriented product recommendations for the Urner cable cars. Ultimately, the thesis provides concrete recommendations for the implementation of the proposed products. ER
