In some cases, this crisis has revealed long-standing weaknesses in companies. This thesis deals with the risen problems of such a company. It is about how far a sports tourism business model can be adapted to a complete or partly standstill of the whole outgoing tourism industry. Furthermore, the thesis is trying to find an answer on how to proceed with the notorious tourism issue of seasonality and how a cluster risk of a single destination can be addressed by a sport company. The thesis is based on fundamental theoretical knowledge about sports tourism and the possible solutions to the problems. In a further step, possible scenarios were evaluated by experts, and comparisons were made with the competitors in a similar field of cycling tourism, on the use of benchmarks. In the end, ideas are given to tangle the mentioned issues. ER
