Comparative advantages are key elements to stand out from other destinations. But what are the main attractions which contribute to tourists' perceptions and assessment of an alpine destination's attractiveness? And how can these attraction attributes be clustered, categorized, and ranked with regards of their magnitude and strength? This bachelor thesis analysis core attractions for Swiss people in alpine destinations with the help of expert interviews and compares alpine destinations with each other. The gained results form a basis for recommendations for the alpine destination Andermatt. A classification and ranking of attractiveness predictors may help the destination Andermatt to allocate its resources in its further destination development processes. ER
