In this bachelor thesis, with the help of specialist literature and interviews with experts, various factors are determined that are decisive for describing a company as socially sustainable. The criteria developed in the area of social sustainability and the evaluation of a possible competitive advantage through social sustainability serve as a basis to identify if a company is already socially sustainable or where areas for improvements could be. An application example is created using the company Freddy Burger Management, which shows an analysis of what the company already fulfils in the area of social sustainability, where there is potential for improvement and how an improvement can lead to a competitive advantage.
