Nevertheless, the complexity of the international tourism supply chain poses significant challenges for tourism enterprises to manage such integrity issues (Piboonrungroj & Disney, 2015; Zhang et al., 2009). Since tourism literature on business integrity is relatively underdeveloped, the types of issues faced by firms in the international tourism supply chain are not well documented. By creating an in-depth multiple case study, the aim of this paper is twofold: first, to document how tourism practitioners understand the term business integrity; second, to create a conceptual model exploring how Swiss tour agencies, as well as their Sri Lankan suppliers, manage businesses integrity issues in their supply chain.
