The hotel is situated in the heart of the canton Thurgau next to the Golf Club Lipperswil. However, being located some minutes into the nature, it is crucial to have a well-thought acquisition strategy to attract guests for the success of the business. The Bachelor Thesis provides an insight into the concept of conversion rate optimization for packaged holidays and recommends how to improve conversion rates of wellness packages sold on hotel websites. Moreover, current methods and tools of conversion rate optimization used by the industry are assessed and analysed. The assessment is based on gained knowledge through interviews conducted with important online tour operators active in Switzerland.
