FN ISI Export Format VR 1.0 PT J TI General Importance of Campsites as Part of the Regional Tourism Offer AF Bardet, Leila AU Bardet, L AB The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the general importance of campsites as part of the regional tourism offer. The analysis has been based on the case of Camping Flims, which is situated in the canton of Grisons in Switzerland. The impact of several campsites in the Grisons and their guests on the regional economy has been evaluated in order to prove their relevance as part of the regional tourism offer. To do so, several research methods and analyses, such as in-depth interviews, expert interviews as well as surveys to various target groups have been applied. The results of the previously mentioned actions, together with the analysis of existing data about the topic, have been compared, analysed and discussed in order to determine if campsites are playing a role in a destination and whether campsites can be perceived as an important part of a regional tourism offer or not. The thesis has been possible thanks to the help and support of Camping Flims, which is a member of swisscamps. ER
