Lea Stahel from Basel will be teaching psychology and communication at the University of Applied Sciences of Graubünden from August 2026. Her academic work lies at the intersection of psychology, society and digitalisation. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in psychology in Basel and a Master’s degree in political psychology in Belfast, she completed her PhD on online aggression at the University of Zurich. In recent years, Lea has focused her research and teaching on online communication from the perspective of social norms and inequality. Alongside her research, she advises federal agencies, NGOs and professionals on conflicts and violence in the digital sphere. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and swimming in the mountains with her family. She also enjoys delving into the wondrous worlds of ants and cacti. During the autumn semester of 2026, she will be in Chur on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
