Andreas Nicklisch has been a professor in economics and statistics at the Centre for Economic Policy Research ZWF since September 2016.
Previously, he worked as an assistant professor of economics, particularly microeconometrics, at the University of Hamburg and as a research affiliate of the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods, Bonn. Research visits have taken him to the University of Copenhagen, Brown University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Queensland and the Technion, Haifa.
His research focuses on experimental and behavioural economics. He is primarily concerned with analysing willingness to pay for environmental goods and redistribution, as well as the social consequences of demographic change.
