Edoardo Longo studied Computer Science and Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, where he also completed his PhD in Information Technology in 2022. His doctoral thesis focused on communication protocols for the Internet of Things, with a particular emphasis on MQTT-based systems and edge computing. During his academic career, he also worked as a laboratory assistant on the «Internet of Things» Master’s programme.
In 2023, he moved to Graubünden, where he initially gained experience in the private sector. He then continued his professional career as a research assistant at the Swiss Institute for Information Science (SII) at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons.
