Daniele Pola grew up in Poschiavo and feels deeply rooted in Graubünden. After completing his apprenticeship as a polymechanic (EFZ) with the Rhaetian Railway in Landquart, he did his military service and subsequently obtained his technical vocational baccalaureate. He then studied mobile robotics at the University of Applied Sciences of Graubünden in Chur.
After completing his studies, he worked in the field of laboratory automation at Hamilton in Bonaduz. Graubünden and the mountains are an important part of his life, which is why he sees his professional future remaining in the region. Alongside his professional career, Daniele competes in powerlifting and takes part in competitions at international level.
