As Vice-Rector (prorector), Armando Schär is responsible for the Teaching and Learning Center, Student Services, Quality Management, the Foreign Languages and Mathematics/Physics specialist groups and the Vice-Rector's Office. He also chairs the Teaching and Learning Center. As a member of the Executive Board, he is the Rector's first deputy. Previously, Armando Schär was deputy head of the Swiss Institute of Information Science at the UAS Grisons, led research projects on the topic of digital business and has been director of studies for the Digital Business Management Bachelor's program since 2015.
Armando Schär holds a doctorate from the University of St.Gallen, where he also obtained a Master's degree in Information, Media and Technology Management and a degree in Business Education.
