Eye Safety

At a glance

At a glance

How safe are lamps, sensors, and lasers for our eyes? Eye and skin safety is a critical consideration when developing new products for end users. At the Eye Safety Laboratory at the University of Applied Sciences of Graubünden, we test the safety of your products equipped with light-based technology.

In addition to expertise in the two standards IEC/DIN 62471 (lamps and lamp systems) and IEC/DIN 60825 (laser equipment), we offer a wide range of eye safety tests and evaluations. We can also support you and your team with consulting, training, and theoretical assessments.
