The University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons Library is part of the national library platform swisscovery by SLSP (Swiss Library Service Platform). This network enables all registered users to have media delivered by SLSP Courier to the UAS Grisons Library from around 150 libraries.

Loans

Self-checkout of loanable media on the PC provided for this purpose in the library (user card required) or at the counter.
Is the self-loan system not working? Please send us an e-mail and tell us which media you have taken with you.

Reservation

If a medium is currently unavailable, you can reserve it via swisscovery. You will receive a pick-up invitation by e-mail as soon as the requested copy is available for collection.

Where can I return my loans?

Please bring your media back after use as quickly as possible so that they are available to other users. For returns outside  counter opening hours, please use the book return boxes in the entrance area of the two library locations.

Interlibrary loans

Students and employees of University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons can have media delivered free of charge to the FHGR Library (Chur locations) from around 150 libraries by SLSP Courier. External users please consult the fee schedule in the «Instruction for the use of the library». The bike courier services of «Bibliotheksplatz Chur» is free of charge.

Is your requested media not available in the network? We look forward to receiving your book suggestion form.

In addition to the services of SLSP Courier, media can be ordered by post as interlibrary loan with costs. The fee schedule of the respective library applies.

If you urgently need a book or an article which is not available in the above catalogues, please send your enquiry to the library team.
Please take note of the fee structure (books or articles will always be ordered from Switzerland where possible).
