The Rectorate and the General Secretariat are central executive support units of the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons. They support the Executive Board in both strategic and operational matters and make a significant contribution to the University's ongoing development and governance.
President
The President leads the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons and heads the University Executive Board. He is responsible for the operational management of the university, the implementation of its strategic direction, the structural consolidation of the entire organization, and the clear positioning and profiling of the university within the national and international higher education landscape.

General Secretariat
Head of the General Secretariat
The Head of the General Secretariat coordinates and supports the work of the University Council, the President, and the University Executive Board. She assists the University Executive Board in developing the basis for operational and strategic decision-making.

Executive Support
Strategic Communication
Thr Strategic Communication supports the University Executive Board in the operational implementation of internal and external communications at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons.


University Development and Quality Management
University Development and Quality Management, together with the University Executive Board, ensure quality and its ongoing improvement in teaching, research, and services.


Controlling
The Controlling department supports internal university management by providing information relevant to decision-making and assists in the implementation of the university’s operational and strategic goals through key performance indicators and regular reports.


University Policy
University Policy supports the University Executive Board on relevant issues related to political developments.

Coordination Teaching and Learning
Standing Committees and Projects
The Standing Committees and Projects Team carries out administrative, organisational and project-related tasks for the Standing Committees and the Head of the General Secretariat and supports their implementation.




Teaching and Learning Center
The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) provides comprehensive support to faculty through advising, professional development, the development of pedagogical approaches, and the enhancement of teaching and learning infrastructure.






Student Services
Student Services is the central point of contact for students at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons and supports students in self-management, the development of learning skills, career planning, and addressing disadvantages.




International Relations Office
The International Relations Office coordinates student and staff mobility, serves as the central point of contact for international students, and represents the university in international networks to enhance its international visibility and promote knowledge transfer.



Foreign Language Section
The Foreign Language Section develops language teaching concepts tailored to the university level and, through innovative modules, trains students to become strong communicators who can act confidently and effectively in the international business world.

Mathematics/Physics Section
The Mathematics/Physics Section develops and teaches modules in mathematics and physics for all degree programs in which these skills are required.

University Council and Executive Board Secretariat
The University Council and Executive Board Secretariat assists the Head of the General Secretariat in planning and preparing for the meetings of the University Council and the University Executive Board.
