Degree programme at a glance
The existence of a company is based on the business fields in which it is active. Business fields contribute to the growth of companies and generate earnings that are required in order to invest in the further development of products.
One day, however, business fields reach maturity and enter the saturation stage. Growth slows and earnings decline. If companies have not developed any new business fields at this time, they disappear in their original areas of activity.
New business fields can emerge through the development of new products, the opening up of new markets or by transforming to operate in completely new areas of activity. The study programme therefore focuses on the topics of innovation, internationalisation and transformation.
The objective of the master’s degree programme is to train managers who can contribute to the further development of companies – management figures who think and act in an entrepreneurial manner and who are also referred to as intrapreneurs and viewed as motors behind new business development.
