Carla Davaz began her professional career with an apprenticeship and subsequent position as an insurance broker at Mobiliar in Chur. She then completed a bachelor's degree in business psychology at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Business, specialising in occupational and organisational psychology and minoring in market and consumer psychology.
After completing her studies, Carla Davaz went through the Generali Switzerland graduate programme in Zurich and Milan and was then responsible for implementing HR and change projects as an organisational change specialist.
She then worked in operations, administration, marketing and communications at her family's business, the Poggio al Sole winery in Tuscany, before returning to her home region of Graubünden.
