Dr. Lukas Peter is an entrepreneur and innovation and digital strategist with international leadership experience in business, research and entrepreneurship. He earned his doctorate in business innovation from the University of St. Gallen with a dissertation on collaboration between large companies and start-ups.
While still a student, he founded the first tutoring portal in the DACH region, which was later sold to the textbook publisher Klett. Most recently, he built up an AI-supported B2B company in the field of social commerce in the USA.
He worked at Swisscom for over eleven years. Initially as head of an innovation team that developed a successful intrapreneurship programme, among other things. Later, as CEO of Swisscom Outpost in Silicon Valley, he took responsibility for strategy, venture activities and global partnerships, initiated new locations in Shanghai and Berlin, and deepened cooperation with international start-ups and research institutions.
At SIFE, he contributes his expertise in entrepreneurship, AI, digital business models and transformation. His focus is on practical research with a beacon character and the strategic development of the institute.
