Fighting Against Corruption in Sports: A Multi-Stakeholder Approach

The International Partnership Against Corruption in Sport (IPACS) brings together international sports organisations, governments, inter-governmental organisations, and other relevant stakeholders to strengthen and support efforts to eliminate corruption and promote a culture of integrity in and around sport.
This Integrity Talk will highlight the key areas of expertise, including promoting good governance and enhancing cooperation between sport organisations and criminal justice authorities.

Giuseppe Deleonardis has served as the IOC Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer since July 2025. In this capacity, he leads the ongoing process to update the IOC Code of Ethics and its implementing provisions, guides improvements to sports integrity frameworks, and oversees the IOC’s ethics agenda through multi-stakeholder engagement in an evolving international environment. Before joining the IOC, he spent more than a decade in management consulting, advising global financial and telecommunications groups on governance, risk and compliance.
Giuseppe frequently represents the IOC at international forums and is a regular speaker at ethics and compliance conferences, promoting collaborative solutions to protect sports integrity.
