Armando Schär holds a PhD in Management from the University of St. Gallen, where he also studied information-, media and technology management and obtained a degree in business education. He has worked as a senior consultant at the web agency Namics (now Merkle) and as a business development manager, shaping the market positioning for the business segment Web Solutions in Switzerland and Germany. Additionally, he has been a teacher of economics and worked at the Swiss Centre for Innovations in Learning at the University of St. Gallen.
Since 2013, Armando Schär is lecturer for Marketing, PR & Online Marketing at the University of Applied Sciences Graubünden. In 2015, he has been elected as Director of Studies for the new Bachelor's degree program Digital Business Management, responsible for its structure and development.
In the Swiss Institute for Information Science, Armando Schär has been involved as a researcher for digital business research projects, bringing his expertise to bear on exploring innovative solutions and strategies for the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
